The 2026 FIMLS-AIMS Tropical Division Combined Annual Conference in collaboration with FNU
The Fiji Institute of Medical Laboratory Science (FIMLS) is proud to announce its Annual Conference 2026, delivered in collaboration with the Australian Institute of Medical and Clinical Scientists (AIMS) Tropical Division and hosted at Fiji National University (FNU), Nasinu Campus.
Under the theme “Partnerships in the Pacific”, this year’s conference will bring together medical laboratory professionals, scientists, academics, and industry partners from across the region to strengthen collaboration, share knowledge, and advance the role of laboratory medicine in improving patient outcomes across the Pacific.
The conference will take place from Friday 19th June to Sunday 21st June 2026, commencing with a Laboratory Expo on Friday. This will be followed by a comprehensive scientific conference programme on Saturday, featuring expert presentations and discussions on key developments in laboratory science.
Sunday’s programme will focus on interactive workshops and breakout sessions, providing delegates with practical, hands-on learning opportunities and a platform for in-depth discussions on priority areas relevant to the Pacific context.
A key highlight of the event will be the Conference Cocktail and Dinner with the theme “Voices of the Pacific”, hosted on Saturday evening at the Grand Pacific Hotel, Suva, offering an excellent opportunity for networking, collaboration, and professional engagement in a formal setting.
Delegates are encouraged to secure their participation early. Registrations close on 5th June 2026 at 5:00 PM.

Call for Abstracts – Combined Conference 2026
